MANUFACTURERS OF STAIR PARTS AND FURNITURE COMPONENTS SINCE 1986
We manufacture a wide range of handrails and baserails to suit all tastes and budgets. Rails are grooved to accept spindles of choice and the insert fillets are included, ready to be cut to fit between the spindles. All hand and base rails are supplied by the metre, only pay for what you need!
To compliment our hand rails we also produce a full range of continuous handrail components, all shown lower down on this page. All sectional bends are supplied with handrail bolts as required. In addition to continuous sections, our Victorian handrail can be supplied with traditional 'ramps and wreaths' to give the true Victorian sweeping handrail look.
Illustrated here are the three different methods of dealing with handrail turns.
Our most popular handrail is available in a full range of timbers. As standard 80mm x 45mm it can be supplied up to 100mm wide and be grooved for 41mm to 70mm spindles. Matching baserail is 22mm deep.
Standard handrail is also available without a groove for wall mounting. See below for the full range of continuous components available for this handrail.
Our Victorian handrail is based on a very common profile used circa 1850-1910. At 80mm x 45mm high, grooved to accept spindles from 41mm to 55mm, Victorian handrail is also available without a groove for wall mounting.
In addition to a full range of continuous components we can also produce full ramps and wreaths for a genuine Victorian look to a staircase, see bottom of page.
Our Classic handrail is another common Victorian profile which falls beautifully to the hand. At 80mm x 45mm high, grooved to accept spindles from 41mm to 55mm.
Our Heavy section handrail is based on our classic rail but includes a toadback moulding on the top.
At 95mm x 55mm high, grooved to accept spindles from 41mm to 70mm, our heavy rail is perfect for larger hallways.
Matching base rail is 90mm x 30mm high.To compliment our Standard and Victorian handrails we manufacture a full range of continuous hand rail sections.
The images below show all the common continuous components in Oak to our 'standard' profile, all are also available in 'Victorian' profile.
All our continuous components are supplied complete with fixing bolts as required.
